The responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to, trial attendance, online legal research (legal databases and internet), researching and writing comprehensive legal memoranda, drafting substantive documents and legal pleadings, reviewing, analyzing and responding to subpoenas, file maintenance, preparation of correspondence, assistance with investigations, frequent interaction and coordination with client groups, and coordination of special projects and supervision of assignments to clerical aides.
The sucessful candidate will be a detail oriented self-started with a proven ability to manage multiple cases, extensive online research skills, a high degree of organization, and excellent oral and written communication skills. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and detail oriented. Qualifications: Paralegal certification peferred but substantial in-office experience may be suitable. Familiarity with legal/court terminology is required. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated problem solving skills are a must as well as a proficiency in LEXIS, Outlook, Word, Excel, Summation and Trial Director software packages. One to three years overall professional experience.
