Consulting Director - Telecom


A technical background is required, as well as functional experience in Telecom BSS, OSS, Billing and/or CRM. Successful candidates should have prior experience of delivering complex projects (typically $5-20M) on behalf of Tier 1 Telecom Operators within the Billing/CRM (e.g. Siebel, Clarify, Amdocs etc) or OSS (e.g. Granite, Cramer, Netcracker, MetaSolv etc), ideally gained within a ‘Big 5’ consulting environment. You will work closely with clients at senior leadership level, and must have the ability to initiate, develop and manage those relationships. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong project / program management skills and experience from POC, scoping and project planning through to delivery. You will be responsible for directing resources (including employees, customers, contractors and off-shore developers), activities and deliverables to deliver business and technical solutions to client satisfaction. Extensive travel is required, typically 25-100% within your region.

Engagement Manager


The Engagement Manager role is an interesting hybrid position, combining high-level strategic business development activities, with the ability to accurately plan, scope, resource and deliver complex systems deployment/integration projects.  For these roles, my client requires a proven background in successfully delivering software and services engagements with major Telecom Operators in the $1-5m range, as well as the ability to network within the client structure to secure additional business opportunities. They are looking for a good balance of technical and functional skills, with a Telecom background focused on BSS, OSS, Billing or CRM.  Extensive travel is required – typically 50-100%

Engagement Director


The Engagement Director combines high-level strategic business development activities, with the ability to initiate project delivery before and maintain a high-level oversight of project delivery through full time Project Managers. For this role, my client requires a proven background in successfully delivering a project portfolio (software / services / consulting engagements) with major Telecom Operators in the $5-20m range, as well as identifying, engaging and securing additional business. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to engage new and existing clients at the highest levels of leadership, identifying needs and closing the deal to secure business process reengineering and/or technical solutions as appropriate. They are looking for a good balance of technical and functional skills, with a Telecom background focused on BSS, OSS, Billing or CRM. Extensive travel is required – typically 50-100%.
